About Kids Outdoor Zone

Kids Outdoor Zone (KOZ) is an outdoor adventure ministry for boys. Men from our church mentor boys through hands-on outdoor skills — fishing, archery, camping, hiking, and more — while pointing them to Jesus. KOZ is built for boys from all backgrounds, including boys who don't have a dad in the picture, and fathers and grandfathers are welcome to come along.

How It Works

KOZ meets the third Saturday of each month from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Grace Community Church. Each gathering mixes an outdoor skill, a short devotion, and plenty of time around the campfire. Boys ages 8 through 18 are welcome.

Because our mornings are packed and often take us outdoors, please be on time: drop-off is at 8:00 AM and pick-up is at 1:00 PM sharp. Our leaders can't start the day's activity until everyone has arrived, and they need to be able to head home on time afterward. Thank you for helping us keep things running smoothly!
